Chapter 3: The Haunting

The family couldn't completely accept that what they had recently seen. They had never had confidence in phantoms, however presently they were confronted with the chilling truth of a spooky place.

Over the course of the following couple of days, odd things started to occur. Entryways would close all alone, articles would move mysteriously, and the temperature in the house would change quickly. The family couldn't make sense of it, yet they realized something was off-base.

John concluded to do some examination on the historical backdrop of the house. He found that the past tenants, a group of four, had been ruthlessly killed in the house simply a year prior. Their bodies had been found in exactly the same room where John had seen the spooky spirit.

The family started to feel uncomfortable in their own home. They would frequently awaken around midnight to observe that their room entryway was open, despite the fact that they had shut it prior to hitting the hay. They could hear strides in the passage, yet when they went to examine, nobody was there.

One evening, Emily awakened to the sensation of somebody sitting on the edge of her bed. She woke her up to see the spooky figure of a lady in a white outfit, gazing at her with void eyes. Emily shouted and awakened John, however when he turned on the lights, there was nobody there.

The family was living in a bad dream. They didn't have the foggiest idea what to do or who to go to. They were reluctant to leave their home, however they were considerably more hesitant to remain.

As the frightful proceeded, the family started to understand that they were managing something substantially more evil than only a couple of spooky ghosts. They had unconsciously moved into a place of revulsions, and they were caught in it with no chance to get out.
